PARK-LIKE CLEARING
Turn any Over-grown forest into a park!
We have a lot of experience in turning overgrown forest into an awesome and enjoyable park-like setting. Our one-step process removes all underbrush and leaves a nice, fine layer of biodegradable mulch over the area which has many benefits that you can read more about below.
FULL CLEARING/BUILDING SITE PREP
We fully clear a select area, perfect for buildings or just thinning out an area.
For building site prep, roots and stumps must be removed. Most building site prep will use bulldozers that leave a large pile of trees, roots, dirt and stumps all pushed together that never seems to break down and doesnt burn with all the dirt and rock mixed in. Its the cheapest route but leaves an ugly finished product when your home is complete. We uproot trees, separate logs, mulch the tree tops, and haul off root balls leaving you a beautiful site to build on. We also leave your top soil in place which is important for getting a lush, healthy lawn growing once building is complete.
WHY FORESTRY MULCHING?
There are Many Benefits To This Method of Land Clearing
Forestry Mulching is a one-step process that uses our 135 horse power ASV forestry machine paired with a Prinoth m450 mulching head. We can turn any targeted tree and underbrush into mulch on-site. This gets rid of costly haul-off fees saving time and money! Our process leaves a fine layer of mulch over the area which has many benefits for the soil and the environment and best of all, no huge bulldozer piles left at the back of your property! Before the mulch has broken down, it will basically block most invasive species from being able to grow back as quickly which will allow native plants more of a chance to get a foothold in the area and will give you, the homeowner, more of a fighting chance at keeping the underbrush cleared out. As the mulch biodegrades it will feed the soil and eventually turns into a lush and healthy layer to nourish grass as well as the healthy trees that we leave intact. The stumps that we leave are ground down to soil level and help with erosion control and will also break down and biodegrade back into healthy soil to help feed the surrounding plants and trees.

Our ASV RT135 track loader is built for forestry work
We did lots of research before we decided on the machine that we wanted to use as our flagship piece for this business. After all that research the ASV brand came out far ahead in the skid steer class. We're currently on our 3rd ASV forestry machine and they continue to impress. Our newest, the ASV RT135 has a 135HP Cummins and flows 50 gallons per minute to the mulching head. No other machine in the skid steer class can match it. It is also the only machine in its class that meets all of the safety specs for a Forestry Machine, meaning we, as operators, are safe in the cab when running the machine on your property. We paired our ASV with a Prinoth mh450 mulching head. Its a DCR (depth control rotor) head and we run knives on it. Running knives gives a huge increase in productivity vs running carbides. Its also a lot more work and more expensive to keep sharp knives on your machine and the reason most other companies choose to not run knives. With the ASV running a Prinoth with knives we can run circles around any skid steer mulcher with carbides to the tune of 2 to 3 times the production capabilities. For you that means paying for one day of work vs 2 or 3 days of work. The knives also allow us to mulch any size tree meaning we can do work the competition cant and make it look easy.
